Hosted by BCG Platinion in partnership with Unicorns in Tech, this Get-Together is a space created for LGBTIQ+ tech professionals – and those who support them. We believe the best teams are built when all of us can show up authentically, and that's exactly why this evening is about inviting open conversation, fostering curiosity and celebrating community.

Who may apply for the Get-Together?

This event is designed for tech professionals who want to explore how their skills and experience may fit into a career in AI & Tech strategy consulting. You bring experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Software engineering & architecture: You have experience designing, building, or optimizing complex software systems, enterprise architectures, or cloud-native solutions
  • AI engineering: You combine hands-on experience with AI systems such as LLM-based applications, AI agents, with a product and an engineering instinct; familiarity with agentic AI or AI-native architectures is a strong plus
  • Data engineering & infrastructure: You have experience building data pipelines, data platforms, or cloud data architectures that enable AI programs to scale
  • DevOps & modern delivery: You have practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or automated testing

You should be pursuing or have already completed a university degree in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, AI Engineering, or a related field. If you are an enrolled student, you should be in your Master's or PhD program.


Professionals with several years of full-time experience in software engineering, IT architecture, or a related tech discipline are equally welcome.


You should be fluent in both German and English.

When and where will the Get-Together take place?

The event will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Berlin. Doors open for arrival at 6:00 PM. Detailed location and check-in information will be shared with confirmed participants closer to the event date.

What happens after I submit my application?

We will carefully review all applications and reach out to each applicant individually to let them know whether they will be invited to attend. Please note that participation is by invitation only and seats are limited, so we encourage you to apply early. You can expect to hear from us shortly before or after the application deadline on September 24.

Do I need to identify as LGBTIQ+ to attend?

This event is designed for LGBTIQ+ tech professionals – and allies are equally welcome. The coming together of members and allies is what Pride@BCG Platinion is built on, and this evening reflects that same spirit.

What is the dress code?

We want you to feel comfortable and be your authentic self with us so our dress code is simple: come as you are.

What are the language and qualification requirements for open positions at BCG Platinion?

While the event itself will be conducted in English, please note that fluency in both German and English is required for all of our open positions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A completed university degree is also a prerequisite for full-time employment at BCG Platinion.
