Iana is a Managing Director at BCG X, heading Design & Engineering Team in Berlin. Iana leads projects across industries focused on Customer Experience Strategy, Customer Journey Redesign, Design Thinking enablement and Digital, Agile and Human-Centered Transformations. Iana joined BCG Platinion from Nokia & Nokia Bell Labs, where she was leading Transformation by Design and before that was driving Business Operations & Executive Customer Engagement. Prior to that, Iana spent 7 years in management consulting at McKinsey & Company Inc. Connecting different disciplines was always Iana’s passion, which is reflected in her multidisciplinary studies, including a Dr. degree in Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University, Dipl. in Mathematics, BA in Philosophy & Economics, and further qualifications in Design, Fine Arts and Music.

Pierre is a Managing Director at BCG Platinion in Munich and Head of the Platinion ERP / Enterprise Solutions practice for Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America. He leads end-to-end ERP transformations that connect business strategy, data, and technology to deliver measurable value. Pierre helps clients build future-ready enterprise platforms that drive integration, performance, and agility across complex organizations.

Axel Griewel is a Managing Director at BCG Platinion in the Cologne office.

He brings extensive experience in digital transformations across media and telecommunications, with a focus on data management, machine learning enablement, and sustainable target architectures. Axel has a strong track record in building international joint ventures, scaling cross-country teams, and establishing agile operating models.

Prior to consulting, he worked as a bioinformatics research scientist at the University of Hamburg and the University of Texas. He holds a diploma in Bioinformatics (MSc equivalent) and a Dr. rer. nat. (PhD equivalent) in image recognition and computer science.
