Press Release: BCG Platinion Doha

BCG Platinion, the technology consulting arm of Boston Consulting Group, announced the launch of its Qatar practice, establishing a dedicated presence in Doha to serve the country's rapidly evolving digital transformation agenda. The launch marks a significant step in BCG Platinion's continued regional expansion, following the establishment of its Middle East office in Dubai in 2022. With Qatar's National Vision 2030 and National AI Strategy driving unprecedented investment in digital infrastructure, the new practice is designed to meet growing demand for deep technology expertise across both the public and private sectors.
"Qatar's ambition is clear and the pace of change is accelerating — the Digital Agenda 2030 and National AI Strategy set a bold direction, and BCG Platinion is here to help organizations build the technology foundations to deliver on it."
Juan Vazquez, Managing Director and Senior Partner
The Qatar practice will be led by Leonardo Altieri, Managing Director at BCG Platinion, supported by a team of experienced IT architects and consultants with deep regional knowledge, and is expected to grow in line with client demand. BCG Platinion's global network of technology experts will provide additional depth across specialisms including cloud, data architecture, and cybersecurity.
"Organizations here are moving beyond pilots toward full-scale AI-enabled transformation. Qatar's clear national vision allows us to partner on ambitious, long-horizon programs with confidence — designing enterprise-grade architecture across AI, cloud, data, and cybersecurity that delivers measurable value."
