We are actively working on the BCG Platinion culture, so it becomes an even more diverse, open, and supportive workplace for inspiring women.
The initiative is not only relevant for women at BCG Platinion which means that men are also part of the working streams. Additionally, the WOMEN initiative is the source of many great ideas that will be developed and rolled out for all genders company- wide.
We break with common clichés that IT strategy consulting is only a working environment for men. We are committed to ensure that BCG Platinion’s culture becomes an even more diverse, inspiring, and supportive workplace for women.
Gender diversity is a critical element for our internal working culture and our work at the client. To create an inclusive workspace for all genders, it is important to involve them all. We are therefore proud that men are also part of the Women@BCG Platinion working streams. Additionally, the women initiative is the source of many great ideas that will be developed and rolled out for all genders company-wide. Above that, our local office nodes are in charge of strengthening local connections and community building in our different offices, by organizing get-togethers and ensuring regular exchange within the team.

Our travel requirements depend on the case you will be staffed on. However, we generally request a willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally. A common schedule can include travel activities from Monday to Thursday or Sunday to Wednesday depending on the client.
Within our local offices and cases, English is widely used but knowing Arabic is a plus. Within our internationally staffed cases, English is our main language.

Within our Consulting team and on our first Consulting career levels, you will be focusing on one project at a time. From our more senior levels onward, you will be overseeing several projects at a time.
As of now, there is no BCG Platinion wide implemented study program. Depending on your job role, we evaluate how to integrate a part-time study program in your everyday life as a Consultant. We are eager to find a sustainable solution to guarantee a maximum of flexibility as well as high quality deliverables to our clients.
If you want to work within our Consulting team, we do look for candidates with broad IT knowledge. However, don’t be discouraged. Within our recruiting process, you will get insights into different cases that helps you as well to find out whether we are the right working environment for you. Depending on your location, we try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to nation-wide relocations. Regarding international transfers, you have the opportunity to apply for a transfer. Your local HR team will support you with all requests and are available to discuss your options.
All cases can be viewed, prioritized, and applied to within our internal staffing tool. Furthermore, you can add preferences regarding industries and locations. Afterwards, our staffing team will match you to a case, trying to accommodate all of your requests. Every employee has a personal contact person from our staffing team for individual matters and open questions.
This can vary greatly and depends on the type and content of the individual project. Shorter projects are completed within three to four weeks. If we assist with an implementation or a merger, projects can take up to or longer than a year.
Our employees can participate in a three-stage training program. Mandatory training, tailored to different career levels, provide a foundational knowledge for all employees. Moreover, individuals can choose additional courses from our comprehensive training catalogue based on their specific needs. Additionally, most employees have access to an extra training budget, allowing them to pursue an annual training course of their choice.
