As a Manager - PIPE (Principal Investors & Private Equity) (all genders), you will work across the entire deal cycle of private equity investors—from the pre-deal phase to portfolio optimization and fund strategy. As part of an international team of tech specialists in EMESA, you will actively help shape technology-driven investment decisions for leading private equity investors. 



Shape the world of tomorrow 

  • You will lead and conduct tech due diligence and specifically assess the impact of technology on investment theses, risk profiles, and value potential 
  • You will analyze application landscapes, software architectures, technical AI capabilities, product and tech organizations, and digital business models, and translate these into concrete deal implications You identify and quantify value-enhancement levers (e.g., AI strategies, scaling, platform strategies, tech transformation) 
  • You develop concrete implementation plans and execute them together with our clients post-transaction (e.g., Full Potential Plan, carve-out, post-merger integration, etc.) 
  • You work closely with C-level stakeholders (e.g., deal teams, operating partners, CFO, CTO, CIO) and act as a sparring partner on equal footing 
  • You manage internal and external project teams and ensure fast, precise, and decision-oriented execution—often in highly dynamic transactions
  • You actively build and develop our PIPE Practice 


You Make the Difference 

  • You have successfully completed a degree in (Business) Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with above-average grades 
  • You have at least six years of experience in IT consulting and in transactions with a strong IT focus, such as tech (vendor) due diligence, tech full potential planning, carve-outs, post-merger integration, etc. 
  • You consistently think from an investor’s perspective and understand how technology influences enterprise value 
  • You bring a strong, cross-industry understanding of business models, value drivers, and investment logic, and can clearly assess technology in terms of revenue, costs, speed, or scalability 
  • You have experience leading projects, are skilled in efficient resource planning, and serve as a motivator and catalyst within your teams 
  • You know how to present complex issues in an understandable way, calculate business cases, and drive them to a decision
  • You are fluent in German and English
